Walgreens Trip 9/22: 4 Enfagrow 4pks + 17 Wet & Wild Nail Polish for $1.88
Cheap Enfagrow and nail polish got me into Walgreens!
The Enfagrow 4 packs were on sale for $6.49 and were BOGO.
Bought 4 (2 not pictured) = $25.96
- BOGO Sale = $12.98
Used 4 $3/1 Enfamil Coupons = $.98 for all 4 or $.25 each! And these are perfect for the diaper bag!
Then there was a Wet & Wild Nail polish coupon for $1.00 off (it expired 9/22) and Walgreens sells Wet & Wild for $.99 each. I had 16 coupons but I bought 17 nail polishes since the Walgreens I shop at refuses to adjust down coupons. Paid $.90 for all 17.

Walgreens paid me $10 to buy Cottonelle Toilet Paper and Depends

I have to start by saying I was very hesitant to share these trips. It's the first time I have ever purchased something I have absolutely no intention of using. I'm not proud but I have been waiting for a good "money maker" to get me back into the Walgreens game and it just so happened to be Depends. There you have it.
For those interested I DO plan to donate all of these so if anyone in the Spring area knows of a senior center or non profit organization for disabled teens/adults or seniors please let me know! I want them to go to a good place where they'll be put to good use. I understand Depends are VERY costly.
All the products are not shown in the photos.
Transaction 1
4 Depends Kits @ $2.00 each
- $2/1 MQ x 2
- $2/2 MQ
Total = $2.00. Earned $4.00 Register Reward.
Inside of each of these kits is a $3.00 coupon good on any Depends. These are the coupons used for each subsequent transaction.
Transaction 2
4 Depends Kits @ $2.49 each (this store did not have them on sale)
- $3/1 MQ x 4 (adjusted down)
Total = $0.00. Earned $4.00 Register Reward.
Transaction 3
2 Cottonelle Toilet Paper @ $5.00 each
- $4 Register Rewards (from T1 and T2)
- $2 Walgreens Cottonelle Q
Total = $0.00. Earned $3 Register Reward
I did this deal a total of 4 times. Each subsequent transaction all had $0.00 out of pocket and I ended up with $3 in Register Rewards at the end of each. So in total I earned $12 Register Rewards - $2.00 I spent in Transaction 1 = $10.00 money maker.
I love getting paid to shop.

Walgreens Trip - 09/17/2011 - Revlon and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream

Had an interesting Walgreens trip last night. I've been shying away from their Register Rewards program since I can't shop Sunday mornings and have been taking advantage of their sales Saturday nights when they active sales for the next week.
This would explain how I end up with 11 Revlon Top Speed nail polishes. Sometimes when they activate sales for the next week and an item is already on sale the current week the 2 sales overlap and you can "double dip" into both sales. The week of 9/11-9/17 Revlon Top Speed nail polish was 40%. The week of 9/18-9/24 it is on sale BOGO 50%. Combine both and you get 40% off AND BOGO 50%!
Bought 11 Revlon Top Speed nail polish @ $3.59 each (40% off) = $39.49
Used $2/1 Walgreens Revlon coupon - $22.00 (takes $2 off each you buy) = $17.49
BOGO 50% takes $.80 off of 5 polishes - $4.00 = $13.49
Used $1/1 Revlon Cosmetic MQ - $11.00 = $2.49 for 11 Revlon nail polish! That comes to around $.23 each!
Shelby was particularly happy with this haul! The Beauty Advisor at Walgreens that checked me out also gave me a free gift for purchasing Revlon! It must have been one of their SaturDate promotions. So I got a FREE John Frieda Full Repair. WHOO HOO!
The Ben & Jerry's was a great deal as well. The pints are on sale for $2.99 this week (9/18-9/24). There is a Walgreens coupon that came in the paper for $2/2 and I traded for MQ for $1/1.
Bought 14 B&J pints @ $2.99 each = $41.86
Used $2/2 Walgreens coupon (takes $2 off every 2 you buy) - $14.00 = $27.86
Used $1/1 B&J MQ - $14.00 = $13.86 for 14 pints of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream! Makes each pint only $.99.
The entire family was happy with this haul!
Spent a bit more than usual but for the B&J it was definitely worth it!

08/06/2011 - CVS, Walgreens & Target

This isn't my ideal first blog post as it doesn't represent the usual amount of savings I have become accustomed to. If you would like assurance that it is possible to buy hundred of dollars worth of items for pennies please go here to view past couponing trips.
The focus of tonight's trip was stockpiling drinks. Last week I bought 9 cases of water. This week I purchased a total of 15 Coke/Sprite 12 packs and 8 Capri Sun cases. I have noticed that beverages account for a huge portion of my grocery bill. When prices are low and you can combine with coupons you want to purchase more than usual so you don't have to pay full price on your future shopping trips!
Here is a breakdown of today's trip. Total spent was 35.88 for items retailing 170.48. Savings of 79%.
CVS - Paid 34.38 for 114.47 (retail price) worth of items and earned a 10.00 gas card. 70% savings. (For those who believe this is high consider this - I purchased 15 Coke/Sprite 12 packs. These are 4.28 at Walmart. If I had purchased these at Walmart I would have paid 64.20 and I would not have received the gas card. It's like paying 2.29 per 12 pack (or 1.63 if you take into account the gas card). This is what stockpiling is all about!)
*Denotes an item that counts towards the $10 gas card.
Transaction 1
*5 Coca Cola 12 packs 3.00 each = 15.00
NY Eye Line = 1.99
2 Cover Girl Eyeshadow @ 5.99 each, BOGO 50% = 8.98

5 Coke Vanilla 20 oz @ 1.59 each = 7.95
Total = 24.93
Coupons Used:
5/25 CVS CRT
5 Free 20 oz Coke MQ (from My Coke Rewards)
Total after coupons = 11.98, plus tax 12.85. Earned $10.00 Shell gas card, 1.79 ECB to use towards a free 20 oz Coke and 1.89 ECB to use towards a Pepsi/Frito Lay product.

5.79 Pain Relief CVS CRT
6.00 ECB
1.00 ECB
Total after coupons = 4.00, plus tax 4.24. Need 9.16 in additional purchases to earn a 2nd gas card.
Walgreens - Purchased 32.55 worth of baby wipes for only 7.80! And actually I didn't even pay that as the manager gave me a 10.00 giftcard for a prior bad experience at the store. So this was free! But here's how I did it:
Huggies 184-216 ct packages are on sale this week for 5.99.
Coupons Used:
.75c off Huggies Wipes MQ
2.00 off Huggies Wipes in Walgreens Infant Care Booklet (available in store) - 8.00
2.00 off Huggies Wipes in August Coupon Booklet (also available in store) - 8.00

Hello and Welcome!
Hello! Thanks for visiting my site. I hope that it helps you to achieve the same level of savings I have been able to! As I have been couponing since April (with a 6 week break in there!) I have completed quite a few shopping trips. Too many to review and recap, unfortunately. If you are curious I do have the trip photos and savings statistics listed on Facebook. You can view this information at this link: Facebook Couponing Trips. You can also view past photos of my stockpile at this link: Stockpile Photos. Enjoy!
