Walgreens Trip - 08/13/2011 - Paid $0 for $65.80 worth of school supplies!

Great Walgreens trip tonight! Total OOP would have been $1.65 but I had a Walgreens gift card left with $2.20 on it so I used that! I also had $4 in Register Rewards expiring tomorrow so I had to use those as well! Total sale price $42.40, retail price $65.80, and earned $4 in Register Rewards to use next time!

Transactions 1-4 *Usually the Walgreens around here limit 1 Register Reward offer per household per day, but since it's the last day of the sale the manager said it was okay for me to do four!*

Crayola 24 ct crayons - $1.00
Crayola poster board - $.29
Total = $1.29

Coupons used:
$1/2 Crayola MQ

Total OOP = $.31 after taxes, earned $1 Register Reward each transaction

Transaction 5

4 Penway Notebooks @ $.29 each = $1.16
2 Elmers Glue @ $.99 each = $2.97
Bevel Erasers = $.39
Dry Erase Board = $2.00
4 Expo Dry Erase Markers @ $3.99 each = $15.96
Total = $22.48

Coupons Used:
$4 Register Rewards
2 $2/2 Expo Markers MQ
4 $3/1 Expo Marker Walgreens coupon
3 $.70/1 Elmers Glue CVS coupon

Total = $.41 after taxes.

Started the night with $4 in Register Rewards, ended the night with $4 in Register Rewards, spent no money and knocked out 1/3 of Eric's school supply list. Good trip!

  1. That's so great! Talia's school is brand specific for their lists, which drives me nuts.
